 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast is an American YouTube star an entrepreneur, philanthropist and entrepreneur. [6] He has been acknowledged as the pioneer of a new genre of YouTube videos that centers on expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson, who was 13 years old when he started uploading videos on YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His first content included "Let's Plays" as well as "videos which estimate the wealth of other YouTubers." In 2017, he became a viral sensation after his "counting to 100,000" video earned hundreds of thousands of views in just a couple of days. He has grown in popularity ever since, with the majority of his videos gaining thousands of views.Over time his style of content expanded to include donation and challenge videos that reward millions of dollars, videos with arduous tasks or survival challenges as well as original videos. After his channel exploded, Donaldson hired several of his former classmates to assist him in running the growing brand. The MrBeast channel had 60 subscribers by 2022. It had reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
