Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Her name was discovered by a talent agency who recognized her potential and persuaded her to choose an occupation in the entertainment industry. She dropped out of college after much thought about an entertainment career. Her debut came in the film 'Children of the Corn: Fields of Terror and found herself disappointed by her performance. Her acting skills were sharpened through appearances in low-budget films. It wasn't an effortless path for this actress, but her sheer willpower and perseverance was rewarded. Her acting career was launched after she received not only praise but also acknowledgement for her performance on Training Day. Her most well-known movies include 2 Fast 2 Furious Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and Holy Motors.
